Six products built for three companies in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Eleven apps shipped, six live on the App Store, three more in development. These aren’t one-off builds — engagements run one to two years, and most are still running. Client code stays private under NDA, and it stays that way. But I’ll walk you through the architecture, the trade-offs, and every decision behind it.
A multi-vendor car wash marketplace. Three native iOS apps on one backend — customers pick a vendor, service, location and time slot, or subscribe to a package; vendors manage services, prices, bookings and slots; an internal app runs admins, supervisors and support. Tap Payments, Apple Pay, KNET, full RTL.
A package based car wash subscription, live on the App Store. Customers pick a package, add their cars and location, then the crew comes to them. Three apps — public customer, internal field team, internal admin. Moyasar payments and ZATCA compliant invoicing.
An e-commerce and delivery platform. The storefront covers catalog browsing, cart, saved addresses on the map, vouchers, and checkout by card, installments, or cash on delivery. Three apps — storefront, driver, admin.
An education app running a teacher’s school day — timetable, student records, grading, curriculum tracking, per student reports, and scheduled reminders. Offline first with Core Data and CloudKit sync. 5.0 rating, 20+ releases since April 2024.
A personal finance app — offline-first with Core Data and CloudKit sync, Sign in with Apple, spending reports, budgets, and subscriptions. Bilingual with full RTL.
A multi vendor booking platform in active development. Three apps — customers discover providers and reserve, providers manage services and schedules, and an internal admin app runs the platform. Releasing this year.
I'm an iOS developer based in Egypt, building for startups in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. For four and a half years I've taken products from a founder's first idea to a running business — scoping the work, shaping the feature set, then owning the build the whole way: architecture, Swift & SwiftUI, API integration, payments, and release.
The part most people skip: I stay. Launch is the start, not the finish. Engagements typically run one to two years, several clients are still with me today, and the product keeps shipping on a continuous release cycle long after version 1.0.
Weekly reviews with founders and their marketing and operations teams keep the product tracking the business, not just the backlog. And I instrument what I build — Firebase Analytics and A/B testing — so marketing can watch real funnels, test a change against real users, and decide from data instead of opinion.
I care about clean architecture, interfaces that feel effortless, and the discipline of getting things live. Whether it's a single focused app or a multi vendor marketplace, the goal is the same: ship something people trust.
